Experimenting...

Rhubarb (from the allotment), orange juice, star anise, orange peel, vanilla vodka, vanilla pod, and some sugar.
Stewed, sieved and just about to go in the freezer.
Hopefully it will turn into a granita, and if not I’ll just have a stunning drink :)

Celebratory whiskey
Just having a third glass of 18yr old Glenfiddich - this was bought by my employer as a gift for lasting 25yr with them.
They were going to give me a 25yr old whiskey but I understood why not ;)
Just received my bookmaking tools will post a pic of them tomorrow when there is more light to take a picture of them with.
Have already made a simple pamphlet from the book I got to accompany them,...

Finally over!
I had six weeks to produce three, 2500 word assignments about how parents/carers with substance misuse, mental health, or domestic abuse problems impact on their ability to provide ‘good enough’ care for their kids
Well it only took four weeks, I’m now officially qualified to be a Head of Care in children’s homes and residential schools
Just in time for me to no longer want to work in child...

Finished
Well I’ve finally finished all the studying and assignment writing, the last one went in today :)
I’m now drinking a very special wine that I had bought for when this happened Amarone della Valpolicella and it is 16% - really wonderful wine, produced from raisined grapes
Won’t know what to do with myself now that the course is over, might have to get on with arty stuff
